About The Good Toy Guide

Playing is always about learning and experiencing rather than just plain teaching. A child can learn a wider range of skills to better prepare them for adulthood through the correct selection of Good Toys that challenge a wider array of developmental areas.

The Good Toy Guide is the first ever initiative in Australia to collect and publish a wider specialist toy market offering than normally would have existed under stand alone operators.

Every distributor has a chance to feature in the Good Toy Guide and the Trademark that has already gained respect in the marketplace will become your symbol of Good Toys and the default go to website for the latest in Educational Toys.

Ready to Play

Every child is ready to play but in many circumstances they need the correct environment and selection of Toys to gain their interest and more importantly hold their concentration whilst playing. It is therefore very important that Toys are selected for their ability to extend and promote your child's full learning potential through careful toy selection.

About the Good Toy Guide Team

The Good Toy Guide is an initiative run by Marco Ferlaino, director of Intelliplay Pty Ltd in Australia along with volunteers. Based in Melbourne, Marco Ferlaino is campaigning for more distributors to come together and bring forward the very best in educational toys and present to the market an alternative view of the Australian Toy Industry.

Toy Reviews

We have easy to read and understand Toy Reviews from the perspective of the actual builder, or user of the toy and not some recycled information but true representations of the experience and overall feelings of the Toy.

Play Value

Each distributors toy listing will also feature a Play Value comment on the areas of potential educational development. Although not an exhaustive list of possible key areas of learning and experience, it nevertheless acts as a guide to better inform.
